Spayed

Mom took me to the vet today. They played a dirty trick. I got some sleepy medicine and when I woke up my belly hurt. Then they said I had to wear the cone of shame. Why am I in trouble? I'm a good girl. They left thread sticking out of my belly. That was funny thing to do.

Mom says I just need to rest.

I think she is right ZZZZZ

College Party

We had another LONG drive. I got to visit my big school for a party. They invited all the puppy families and volunteers to attend. Lots of my friends from school were there.

I met baby Pippa and Ryder.

Ryder will be a puppy daddy one day soon

Pippa isn't impressed. He is just a goofy big brother to her.

I met some BIG dogs. mom said they were called ponies.

I got just close enough but didn't get too far from Mom.

Surprise- my Grandma was there.

She thought I was getting too big. She remembers me as itty bitty baby.

Jemma was there too. She avoided me as a little one, but she likes me a little more now that I have big girl teeth and some manners.

Grandma love is the BEST!

I had professional photographs taken. You'll see them later. These are our practice shots.

Best of all, 5 of my brothers were at the party too. It was great to see them.

U of M and Aunt Judy

I had a big job this week. I had to meet the Regents at the University of Michigan.

We thanked them for all their hard work with people who have disabilities.

We had to sit through a long meeting first.

I was a very good girl!

Then Aunt Judy came to visit all the way from Texas.

I showed her my skills.

Aussie always gets the snuggles.

I'm too busy running and wrestling.

Summer Picnic

Mom got to see some old PAWS friends. I got to meet some new friends.

I already met Laura and Charlie at Wilma's house swim party.

There was Lisa and baby Nala, Kayla and baby Brennan.

There was even a lake to swim in. I had to stay on the leash but I ran & ran on the edge of the water. Mom didn't take any pictures of me.

She did fall in the lake. Good thing she didn't take the camera.

Nala wanted to eat those flip-flops. Such a baby.

Ukon enjoyed the lake too.

All the people had snacks. All I got was a few kibbles and some water.

Miss Sue gives the best snuggles.

Wore out. Time to head home.

A place called Plymouth

Today we had outside school. It was in a place called Plymouth.There were lots of things to see hear and smell. I was a little distracted so I had to keep my gentle leader on. I'm still training to be a helper dog, but I don't think this is what Mom meant. There were carnival rides, food and funny noises. I wasn't scared a bit! Some of my friends were at class too. I met baby Norman. Everyone wanted to pet him. We are practicing our controlled greeting with NO petting. No swimming either.

Spoiling all my fun.

Brunch & Munch

Today I had a special date with Mom.

We went to the fancy mall in town to have breakfast.

They call it Brunch.

I practiced my down stays and could not play with the birdies.There was a special menu just for dogs.Mom got a breakfast pizza.

It smelled REAL good.

They put the food down right in front of us.

I tried to eat mine and the neighboring dog's too. That was not okay.

I think I liked the dessert best. Lickety Split ice cream.
